Those codes mean the reader you are using is the wrong one. Make sure it is CAN OBD 2
It was a CAN OBDII. I just had wrong settings and took it to dealer and they said it was a $20 sensor and replaced it
found answer on another thread. It's actually E72 & E78 which means some nodes in system are not communicating. From Jeep garage for 2007 jeep compass.

Recommend to have codes pulled via scan tool. Lights can come on for many different things. Possible bad ignition switch assembly can cause both check engine light and security light to come on.

i guess you mean p0930 obdii code... that is gear shift lock selenoid circuit problem....when press on brake does gear shifter move freely.. anyway reset and see if returns... if problem with gear shift try replacing selenoid

You need a scan tool that can relearn the Steering angle sensor since you changed it's operating parameters.
