You have a bad fuel sending unit bracket, on top of your fuel tank. This is a VERY common issue. Frop the tank down, you will see the problem. Replace the bracket, and you will be good to go.

Just did motor swap on 95 f150 pulled 5.8 efi and put in another 5.8 efi haven't hooked up any vacuum lines get no fire?

No, but the computer does. The PCM was programmed for the original engine. If the parameters of the engine and the software in the computer don't match the engine won't start. The PCM may need to be reflashed..needs a professional or you can fry a PCM, and they are not cheap! Yes even 95 are flashed with firmware.

Motor mounts

I wouldnt recommend swapping motors on different models, even if they appear to fit properly. It will always create some king of complication along the way, even if it appears to run smoothly initially.
I dont think they make cross over mounts for older models. You may have to get one fabricated. But you can try various mechanics in your town, who may have one.

Hope that helps. If you found my answer satisfactory, kindly take a moment to "Accept" my solution.

Thanks in advance,

89 F350 7.5 gas EFI motor home, acts like it wants to start, but acts like its flooded. check my spark, check rotor every thing good there. at this point not sure if fuel regulator or ECU.

There are a few things you may try. Assume the opposite for fuel flooding and hit it with a sniff of starting fluid. If it tries to do something then you need to check why fuel is not getting to engine. You can use a multi-meter or borrow a noid tester to see if injectors are working.

As this is a motor home it can surely be wired different from a standard F350. There is an inertia sensor in Ford trucks to disconnect the fuel pump on impact. The inertia switch has a simple reset button on it.

As you have an older vehicle, the multi-port injection style has a crankshaft sensor which also sets fuel PSI. Can't say about yours, I know that there were throttle body injectors in 1984 Ford cars, but truck gross weight exclusions for EPA stuff even had carburetors remaining on trucks years later.

Your tester for problems needs to be for the earlier electronic ignitions. Its hard to do ECU testing without proper tools. One thing you might look at is the temperature sensor. The cold start sequence is triggered by the water temperature sensor telling the engine that it is cold and needs to enrich fuel mix through the ECU. It makes starting easier.

1992. Where is fuel pump located?

in the usa. must we guess?
in the USA all cars are EFI, starting in about 1988./89
by law. (EPA)
we cant guess what engine you have or fueling system.
but EFI is in the gas tank.
if a carb , it can be in many places, tell engine size. first.
and country.

me , i just look.
i look at my fuel rail and see the gas feed go rear.
i use my eyes to follow those lines, and if i see a filter, first then bingo that is fuel feed, then it goes to tank , well no pump was found leaving only one possible place, that tank.
works on all cars. made. gas.
on some cars the fuel line feeds the throttle body. directly.

1987 Samurai idles fine. Above idle goes lean, runs rough, mc dwell 0. Rebuilt carb., no change. replaced with rebuilt carb., no change. Timing bounced around when engine running bad, replaced dist....

87 has no ECU. so must be an engine swap to a 89 or newer tracker
or last sammi that did have EFI.
you said EFI and Carb in same paragraph and that is a contradiction.
post to my bbs for more help.

post a link to a photo of your engine, many sammy cars have a newer engine and EFI added. no matter we can fix it, but you need to learn whats under the hood first, photos rule in this word.

Im looking for someone to tell me im changeing a 302 motor from a 95 f150 2wd and putting it into a 89 ford f250 4x4 both fuel injected but wireing harness plugs are different is there any easy way i can...

you are going to need to hook up the 95 as if its the 89...so take all harnesses and components and swap them. you have to swap injectors, manifolds ect. the basic engines are the same, but everything else may be differet, you have them both, so you should be able to tell what you can tell what needs to be changed and not. I know the injectors are different, and may not even plug in. .

89-98 chevy blazer

It's not worth doing all that conversion, buy the time you spend the time and money to convert the 89 4.3 to work on the 98 blazer, it would be cheaper to install a 98 vortec rebuild. The 89 4.3 have a TBI fuel injection system and the ecm on the 98 will not work and the bad news is that the ecm on the 98 also controls the transmission shift points and the 89 will not, so even if you swap the ecm to have the 89 4.3 engine work. the transmission will not shift. Sorry for the bad news but it would be cheaper to replace the 98 engine with the years of 1996 to 2001. Good luck and hope this helps.
