Either pulled wire loose or blew fuse. At least you know area to look for loose wire. Find wiring diagram and the find color of wire for instruments that will narrow your search.

SOURCE: low beam headlights not working on 2004 Pontiac Montana extended

You headlight lamp have a diffuser mechanism which allows it to flip between the hight beam and low beam feature of the bulb. In fact, you high beam will function even if the low beam is not working.

I would recommend the purchase of the new headlight lamp. It would cost you you any where from $15.00 per unit to get a replacement lamp

How do I get the battery out of a 2005 Pointiac Montana?

It's a tight fit. You must remove the bolts securing the bar that goes from the radiator support to the strut tower and remove the bar. The underhood fuse block (also known as battery juction box) can "uncliped" from its base and can then be moved aside. Then the battery has to be turned up on end to get it out.

...and people cannot understand why we mechanics would charge for something as simple as replacing a battery......:-D

Need to change belt on 2003 Pontiac Montana. Where is the release point to start?

there is a tensioner in the system it is a flexiable arm with a big spring in it and a pulley attached put a socket on a braker bar and move the pulley the opposit way of the belt and the belt will come loose (remember that you must hold the breaker bar due the tension on it till you get the belt off the pulley remember the belt routing when reinstalling

FIRST CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR BATTERY CAN ATTAIN & SUSTAIN A FULL CHARGE FOR 24 HRS, IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY. IF OK, DISCONNECT POS TERMINAL, HOOK UP VOLT METER SEE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 8 VOLT DRAW IN THE SYSTEM, IF SO START PULLING FUSES TO LOCATE EXSESSIVE DRAW ON BATTERY.
