You can try pulling the radio fuse for about 3 min. replace fuse and immediately try to eject cd. It might come out. You can try the old butterknife double faced tape trick.. It might work. Take a thin butter knife. Put a piece of double faced tape on the blade. slide (dont Jamb) the blade in the cd slot and slightly press down on blade. You might be able to pick up the cd enough to lift it out the slot. Worth a try. If not you will have to take it to be removed and serviced.

yes this is an electrical problem. it is either the relay is stuck or the switch is stuck on the inside , since the motor is working.
it will need to be checked out to see which one is causing it to continue to run.

ok i no this is prolly not the answer you want but i have ran across this a thousand time it is very commen with the gm cd players i have yet seen anyone fix this problem best bet is to replace the unit and aftermarket is a good cheap way to go

Hi. the air filter is in a cylindrical looking device that is connected to the intake throttle body, via plastic flex hose. it runs horizontal. you will have to un clip the plastic housing and extract the filter. i will post a picture below.
