The fuel pump relay will cause a stalling or no start condition. You are likely having mass airflow sensor, fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator issues.

2001 ford escape makes a hissing and high pitched squealing sound when the brake pedal is released?

You need to have the brakes inspected. This noise is the brake pad wear warning tab hitting the brake rotor.;

1997 s10 2 wheel drive truck. 4.3L v6 makes a loud noise as the car accelerates fast or under load. When running 55 I can release the gas pedal and the noise is not audible. I can put the truck in neutral...

Your noise sounds like it is power train related,If you have eliminated the engine,Since it doesn't make the noise while moving and in neutral.
It sounds like a universal joint in the drive shaft.Do you notice a vibration
along with the noise?

High pitched noise

YOU CAN REMOVE THE SERPENTINE BELT AND START THE ENGINE BRIEFLY TO SEE IF NOISE IS STILL THERE. IF NOISE IS NOT PRESENT CHECK ALL BELT DRIVEN COMPONENTS FOR LOOSE BEARINGS OR EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT. IF NOISE IS STILL THERE THEN PULL DUST SHIELD UNDER VEHICLE AT FRONT OF TRANSMISSION. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU VISIBLE ACCESS TO THE STARTER DRIVE(THE PART THAT MOVES OUT TO ENGAGE THE FLYWHEEL ON BACK OF ENGINE)WITH AN ASSISTANTS HELP START THE VEHICLE(WEAR SAFETY GLASSES)AND WATCH AND LISTEN. IF THE NOISE IS IN AREA OF FLYWHEEL YOU WILL SEE THE STARTER DRIVE(IT HAS TEETH ON IT)STAYING ENGAGED TO THE FLYWHEEL, IF THIS HAPPENS YOU CAN TRY SHIMMING THE STARTER BUT MOST LIKELY THE STARTER WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO A BAD STARTER DRIVE(OR BENDIX) RETURN SPRING. HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS!!

When i give my car gas a whistle comes from the engine. It's a high pitch continual sound. When i let off the gas the whistle stops. It sounds like it's coming from the top of the block.70k miles...

Sounds like a vacume leak, chk. for a cracked or broken vacume line or maybe one came off. Does it idle ruff? With it running open hood and listen for a low pitch whistle you may have to rev it up a little.

High pitch whistling noise in engine compartment of 2005 envoy

There may be a small hole or cut in a vacum line or possibly just loose. Also make sure the air filter box and the big hose to it are secure and clamps etc are tight. Pulleys and belts can make a high pitch sound also.
