it's an 08 model. if this happens to alot of people they will do a recall. i would call your dealer and let them know what happend so it can be fixed. from the sounds of it it is a workmanship problem and should be covered by the manufactor and should be replaced free.

Why does my GMC Canyon 2008 Blower fan only works on 2?

I had a problem on my 2006 sierra, the fan wouldn't work on 5. gm had a curtisy recall, they had to replace a resistor, at no charge, last week. Ask your dealer about any recall for this with your vehicle.

Where do i find the evap system on a 2008 gmc canyon

the evap system is the vapor control of gasoline in the fuel tank it runs the whole length of the truck involving a vapor canister and vent control valves and purge valves of course hoses also.

I think this is for an oil level sensor. Should be easy to change , or a shop can do it for a nominal charge. The dealerships will want more.

My '08 GMC Canyon,the right rear window,it's electric,will go down by itself while I'm driving to & from work---at times it also will go down when I start the vehicle!!

SOUND LIKE THE REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH HAS A SHORT IN IT OR THE WINDOW SWITCH IS FAULTY.

2006 gmc canyon 3.5 inline 5 cyl.

Not much of a vacuum diagram on this vehicle. Uses vacuum mainly for the EVAP system ( not a good source). Best bet would be to use a source that stems directly from the intake manifold. Good luck
