My car battery went dead. I wasnt aware of this and when I tried to turn it on whe key got locked in. Somebody, trying to help me jumped the car from the fuse box under the hood as the trunk wouldnt open either. After this, I got several issues with the car. Got power steering message on the board, steering wheel was HARD to move. (Got this fixed, fuse 43 60A was blown). Speedometer is not working, transmission is not shifting... I already checked the rest of the fuses and all of them are good. I was reading about the output speed sensor connector somewhere else, I been trying to find where this sensor is located in my car to see if is loose or what... (NOTE THAT IM A WOMAN AND KNOW LITTLE ABOUT CARS). Any help with the location of this sensor? Thanks

Hi Your S class has two batteries. The smaller one is located in the engine bay, and the bigger one in the boot (trunk). No need to access any of them, simply open the door with key, insert key to start engine, you will notice that not all ignition lights will come on, but the engine WILL start, and the batteries will be recharged after a short while.

try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds and reconnect may work. this way you will reset the system

Check you cables, see if you have a short in the grounding cable. The end grounding it to the car may have come loose. Have you ever replaced the cables? That would be my next step before you dump money into it. You know it isn't the battery so just work from there.
