I just asked this but I forgot a word in whats happening.I have an '03 ford escape and when I start the car its fine but after driving it for 10 minutes the coolant comes on. Its NOT over heating and there is plenty of anti-freeze in it. What is the problem?

It needs connecting to a Scan Tool and checking for Diagnostic Trouble Codes. That will tell the mechanic what the issue is.

My 2003 Ford Escape had a bad crank shaft sensor which, would cause it to stall out, mainly when the engine was hot. It often would not start after I turned off after a long drive. Once the engine was cool it would re-start. The replacement sensor was a bit differennt then the original. The original appeared to be mostly plastic, while the new one was metal. Ford must have know they had a problem part.

2001 ford escape, battery light comes on and goes off while driving. autozone checked battery and alternator and said everything is fine, what else could it be.

I'm trying to put this nicely. Give it time the alternator will go out soon. At least that's what happened to my friends 2005 Ford Focus. Be prepared. Avoid trips far from home and friends or take the alternator off or take the whole car to a shop that specializes in alternators and starters. Ask for an estimate and know how much a replacement from the parts store will cost before you go.

Coolant light on

You say it's overheating, more info needed such as:
Is the engine temp gauge showing that it's overheating?
Is it actually 'boiling over' and losing coolant?
If it's running hot, but not losing coolant, check to see it the cooling fan is operating when the engine temp rises. You may have a bad cooling fan switch that is not signaling the fan to go on to lower the engine temp.
It could be a stuck (closed) thermostat that is preventing proper circulation of coolant after the car reaches operating temp.
