SOURCE: where is the air/fuel mixture scrue?

i'm not too familiar with dirtbikes but my experience with street bikes it has been on the underside of the carbs and if stock it is typically covered by a brass plug. this plug is just there to satisfy the epa you need to drill it out but be careful the screw is directly underneath the plug so as soon as you break thru pull back then use a screw to extract the plug. hope this is the answer you are looking for.

SOURCE: i have a 50 cc

The easiest way to adjust the air fuel is using a RPM capable multimeter. But, in a pinch, a good ear will do just fine. Adjust the screw inward until the rpms drop. Turn it VERY slowly until the rpms return upward. Once you finish, just work the screw back and forth to get it to the point the rpms change (however this is not necessary). Congradulations. You're finished.

SOURCE: Where to adjust Nissan sunny 130y carburetor idle speed n air fuel mixture

there will be screw with a spring under the head at the base of the carby
it is normally a small brass screw with a flat blade slot
turn it all the way in and then back it out around 2 turns
final tune is with the engine at operating temperature turn it in slowly until the rpms start to fall
slowly turn it back out until the rpms again start to fall
take notice of how many turns between in and out an final tune will be in 1/2 that number of turns
example
fully in then out 2 turns
turning it in and the rpms fall
turning it out and counting the number of turns gives you 1 1/2 turns till the rpms fall
turn it back in 3/4 turn

My is putting to much fuel or no enough oxygen where is the sensor. Mercruiser 6.2 2002

All MerCruiser EFI engines operate on the fuel injection strategy called "Speed/Density". This means that the ECM primarily looks at the engine's speed and the intake manifold's air density in order to calculate the correct amount of fuel to inject. The engine requires an air/fuel mixture of approximately 14:7 to 1 in the combustion chambers. Since the EFI system doesn't control air flow, it must determine how much air is flowing through the engine in order to calculate the correct amount of time to fire the fuel injectors. The net result is that there must be 1 part of fuel for every 14.7 parts of air going through the engine. in this case there is no sensor but you need to determine the speed/airflow measure to know if your mixture is right.

WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY 2012 OUTBACK TO TRY & SURGE AHEAD WHEN I SLOW DOWN & APPLY THE BRAKES

The surge you experience will be the air/ fuel mixture adjusting to normal from the extra air from the brake booster. With you economy so low during winter I would be checking the fault codes for faults in the air/fuel system as it should get better as cold air has more oxygen content so more power with less fuel. There is only a rich mixture used while the engine is warming up and once at operating temperature then that rich mixture is reduced to normal mixture

Timing problm

engine timing could be off.for the mercedes benz inline 6 cylinder ignition timing 7 - 11 degrees before top top dead center with idle set speed 650- 700 rpm. make sure engine tuned up before adjusting ignition timing.replace spark plugs and wires, replace distributor cap and rotor.change fuel filter and air filter and clean fuel injectors.if engine still stall out have fuel pressure checked should be 77 - 80 psi. if your car have the EZL CONTROL UNIT ADJUSTS TIMING AUTOMATICALLY NO ADJUSTMENT IS POSSIBLE.

Rough idle i have changed all coils and plugs

Hi
If your car runs rough or stops running while at a stop the main thing would be a vacuum hose leak.
What is happening is that the fuel/air mixture is off. At idle or lower speed there is more air than fuel being mixed because of the vacuum leak causing the engine to stall out.
That is why it runs fine as it warms up because the fuel mixture is richer, as the car warms up the fuel mixture decreases.
As you drive the car at normal speeds such as on the freeway, the fuel mixture increases bringing balance to the fuel/air mixture.
The vacuum leak in the hose is causing too much air to be added into the fuel/air mixture causing your engine to run lean while at an idle.
To locate the leak get a can of carb cleaner. Have someone help you keep the car running while you squirt the car cleaner around the different vacuum hoses. When you spray a section of hose and hear the engine smooth out or the RPMs increase, that area is your problem. Keep squirting the area until you are able to locate the hose with the leak.Remove the faulty hose .However if you take to a shop and they place it on the computer and tell you that the Oxygen sensor is faulty, tell them to check for a vacuum hose leak. The computer will of course report a faulty Oxygen sensor because the vacuum leak is causing the fuel/air mixture to be off.

Have you checked the EGR valve? It may be leaking, touch it with a wet finger at idle, if it is leaking it will be very hot, the cause is either carbon or back pressure transducer problem, another issue may be fuel pressure so check the pressure .
Let us know if you want to know something more else please accept the suggestion.

How to adjust air fuel mixture on a 87 suzuki samuria

On any carburator, one screw is for the idle speed, the other the air/fuel mix.Start the engine and let it get plenty warmed up. Adjust the idle screw to make the engine run slow. Turn the air/fuel screw in until the engine starts to die then out till it starts running loady. You want the screw between these two locations. Adjust it till the engine runs the fastest. Now adjust the idle speed screw to about 1000 RPM.
I hope this helps you.

1991 toyota 3L V6 Overfueling, raw fuel pouring out exhaust pipes

The valve cover gasket change is related only to the extent of needeing to remove something else . There is the fuel pressure regulator and the MAF SENSOR talks to the ECU telling the computer how much fuel is needed for proper mixture of thre air passing into the intake. It is the first sensor in the intake duct coming out of the sir filter. Make sure all the injectors are secure in wiring connection and look around for any other that had to be removed. All plugs mean it isn't just one injector. Unplug and replug the MAF. cHECK THE THROTTLE POSITIO SENSOT. iT RIGHT THERE where the fuel likage is attached.

Mercedes benz 190e 1900year /air flow meter connections

AS far as i understand it your air flow meter only controles your idle, not your air/fuel mixture. The mixture is controled by the Air/fuel mixture body that sits immidiatly below your fuel distributor. it has a 'tower' that reaches up to a hole in your aircleaner so you can get to it with an allenkey. To set the mixture correct it needs the aircleaner on. that screw changes the pivot point of the arm that gets depressed by the large round disk visual if the aircleaner is of. This is not a throttle butterfly, it mechanically 'measures' the airflow by being sucket down and pushing a plunger upwards into the fuel distributer increasing the amount of petrol to the injectors. You say gas as a supplement... I assume you mean Hydrogen Fuelcell. Because if your trying to 'add' instead of replacing with LPG or Natural Gas you will have a problem as LPG for example needs to ignite earlier. For example if the petrol engine fires at 6 deg BTC on petrol, than converted for LPG it needs to fire at 16 deg BTC on their original plugs (newer plugs are available that allow for an acceptable setting suitable for both fuels but all i everseen when petrol was still present when switching to LPG is an 'engine bay' fire)... But assuming your talking Hydrogen fuel cells as a supplement to try and reduce your fuel consumtion than the element that could create a problem for you is the Lamda probe (Oxygen sensor) in your exhaust as it may think that your fuel mixture is to lean and tries to increase fuel through the cold start injector or the electronic pressure regulator on the fuel distributer. I hope this will help you somewhat.
