Hello i would like to know i have a holden cruze cdx 2011 and i cant turn my aircon on as this makes my car stop

Finding a shop that can work on a Holden cruze in the USA is an accomplishment. I have never worked on one or even seen one outside of Australia. As far as them taking advantage or you, if you tell them up front that you will want to see the parts they are replacing - so not to dispose of them it will keep them honest to some degree. And if you take a male older friend with you (not someone that wears fancy suits) that should make them at least think twice.

SOURCE: Holden cruze 2010 won't start. I got back in the car to find the engine light coming on, and the car not starting at all. Doesn't even sound like its trying to start. Anyone know anything about this?

If it is not making any cranking sound at all, it is probably a battery problem. Could be loose or corroded terminals. It it still has the original battery, it is probable that the batter is bad.(5 years old) If you can jump start it, take it to a battery place. Be CAREFUL to get the jumper cables on correctly. A reverse connection could be disastrous.
