When you say it doesn't crank, that means engine doesn't turn, nothing to do with fuel, it's starter, battery or battery cables. If it cranks but doesn't start (run) then it could be fuel, timing or spark issue.

First off have the battery tested, just because it has enough juice to light the dash and the radio doesn't mean it has the 100 amps needed to run the engine starter motor. Autozone and others do battery testing for free.
The start circuit is getting power from somewhere and its timed to come on in 2-3 hours.Bazzar!!Does the truck have a remote starter your unaware of and something/someone is activating it accidently/on purpose?
