The lights on my 300M Gauges have gone out - The lighting looks like a flourescent system but comes from a flat sheet embedded in the cluster plate. There is no bulb(s). Is this a typical issue with the power supply or the switch? The center clock has the same lighting and works. If it is an issue with the power supply where can I order one?
I HATE Dodge's electrical system. I purchased a 2000 Neon from a junkyard to teach my son and daughter to drive. I refurbished it, but electrical issues had me using techniques I use in my home repair business to fix em. Okay. I'll get over it.
Before you order one of Dodge's expensive parts then find out that customer service sucks, try replacing the dash fuse. Check the relay under the hood in the engine compartment. The clock might use the same switch, but it MIGHT not have the same power supply. I know it sounds crazy, but this is the same company that has the reverse relay fuse located under the center console in the Neon. I'm sure you've already checked that your switch is in the on position, so I hope that changing the fuse and/or relay work.
