SOURCE: hi i have 2001

there is not a code listed in the toyota repair manual p0001 but there is a poo11 and it is part of the vvt system and the code says bank 1 intake valve timing advance that there is a differance between crank and cam sensor signal to the computer. and could be a number of things from cam sensor, crank sensor, vvt solenoid, wiring, computer.this problem needs to be checked with a scan tool so each sensor can be checked and the right one replaced........good luck and i hope that this info helped..........let me and fixya know how i did and if i can help in any other way.........this is the only code that was close to what you had down and there is no pooo1 code ..............if you need any more help give me all the info that you can............

SOURCE: Need diagram for ignition coils

Same as Ford Escape.
P0351 - Ignition Coil A - Primary/Secondary Circuit

Cylinder #1, Pin 26 at the PCM, computer.

I would replace the coil on the plug (COP) for that cylinder and see if its' ok. If not, then it is possible that the bad coil took out the driver in the PCM. The test at Pin 26 to see if the light blinks, must be done with the correct tester or it will damage the PCM.

Hope it's the coil.

report results.

4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine?

Error code 0700 aa1 aa2

Hi there:
The DTC P0700 is a Information Code The Transaxle Control Module (TCM) that monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. If any malfunction is detected, the TCM informs the PCM by sending a signal (P0700 code). P0700 means that a code has been set in the TCM.
This code is for information ONLY. If this code is present, check for transaxle codes. So basically, the P0700 code is telling you to check the TCM for a transaxle DTC. The TCM can not turn on the check engine light so it has the PCM do it, which can only be done with a diagnostic scanner. The self retreival method for chryslers with the ignition key will not pull up the specific transmission fault codes in the TCM.

Hope this helps.

I lost my remote entry key for 2001 Toyata Tacoma.

your tacoma keys were specially coded for that very truck you are driving and the code on the key communicates with your ecm brain computer. either a dealer or a licensed stereo alarm shop can remedy this for you.

P0450 trouble code

Your vehicle has whats called a OBDII diagnostics setup. Just google "2001 Toyota Tacoma, OBDII trouble codes". You should get a whole page full of responses. (Type in exactly what is in exclamation marks above) Once you have codes, scroll down to PO450. Remember, whatever sensor/circuit it refers to, means there is a problem with the circuit, the sensor, ie..wiring, bad connector, bad ground, short, open, and so on. Dont just change out part without first examining the wiring and connectors first. Common sense goes a long way with this sort of troubleshooting.

Malfunction indicator lamp

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp or MIL (Also called the check engine light or service engine soon light) comes on when the on board computer detects an issue with the operation of the engine or transmission.

The best thing to do is to take the vehicle to an auto parts store like Autozone and have them hook up their scan tool to the vehicle and read the code. They can read it, tell you what it is and also tell you what the code means.

If it is pointing to a faulty component or sensor and you replace or repair the component the the light will go off on its own after the computer sees that the malfunction is no longer present.

You can have the code cleared, but if whatever caused the light to come on in the first place is not addressed then it will just come back on eventually.
