Hi Tom Rutledge, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? It should reset itself once all tires are properly inflated.

If you rotated the tires and didnt have the sensors relearned on the vehicle then it isnt the tire it is telling you it is.

SOURCE: Where is the tire sensor reset button on a 2008 Toyota Avalon

Firestone Hmmmmmm. Well the reset button is located just under the dash to the left of the steering column, hold for a few seconds and the light should go out. Hopefuly the firestone tech won't tell you your brakes need greasing the next time you go in for service, haha. Oh, I do beleive your tire pressure should be 29 psi. But, you can check your owners manual for correct pressures. It sould also tell you where the reset button is also. That should FixYa good luck.

The tire light flashes then stays on 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan What could that mean?

Diane, it is sensing low air pressure in one of the tires, or faulty sensor. check air pressure in tire and fill to specification.

Why am i not getting a pressure reading for my right back tire while the other three tires are showing a pressure reading?

It is possible that the sensor just needs to be reset. Any place that installs tires should be able to do this for you. If that doesn't work then I would have to say the sensor has been damamged or just gone bad. Hope just getting things reset helps.

Tire pressure monitor fault

Tire pressure sensors are just that, sensitive. If all your tire have the proper pressure and you still are seeing the sensor light and it comes back on after resetting it then the computer sensor monitor is at fault. Unless you can reset your cars' computer you will probably be stuck with going to the dealer for service. Call various other reputable service centers that have certified mechanics before turning out the big green at a FORD dealership though.

2005 Tahoe TPMS reset fails

I sympathize with your frustration. I have a 2005 Tahoe, and maybe my experience will help. johnjohn2 TPMS reset procedure is correct. It works by pressure decrease or increase for the system to identify the proper sensor. After trying twice by letting out pressure and failing, I started out with a low tire and added pressure from my compressor for about 10 seconds then waited the 15 seconds, and sure enough the horn chirped so I continued on with all four and that procedure worked. Remember you only have about a minute each per tire and five minutes total to complete. If you do not hear a horn chirp at each tire you will have to start again at beginning. If this also fails some auto parts stores will test your TPMS tire sensors for free, so check around. You may have more than one bad sensor. At least you can try this without spending any more money.

How do i reset the tir sensor? I tried to reset by using the check mark. i do not have a service manuel. I have waited till the horn re

you have put your vehicle in learn mode. there is a special tool to relearn tire positons. take vehicle to a dealership and have tire pressures corrected and tire pressure sensors relearned. your tire pressure info. is on your drives door, 07 tahoe should be at 30psi .you can try pushing check and wait for honk, then let air out of left front tire until you hear a honk, then right front, then right rear, then left rear. by then your sensors will be learned but you will have four flat tires, it'll be easier to have someone reprogram using tool.
