SOURCE: replacing spark plugs in a 2002 chevy tahoe

EACH ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS IS LOCATED UNDER INDIVIDUAL COILS. YOU MUST FIRST REMOVE THE BOLT ON TOP OF THE COIL AND GENTLY TWIST AND PULL UP ON THE COIL WITHOUT RIPPING THE BOOT. UNPLUGGING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR IS NECESSARY ON MOST MODELS. SOME OF THE NEWER MOTORS HAVE A COVER ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE THAT HIDES THE COILS. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. BEST OF LUCK

SOURCE: How to change spark plugs of Chevy cavalier 2002

for the most part they are in between the fuel injector the best thing for you to do is stop by your local GM dealership in the part department and they be able to print you off the pictures and diagrams you need if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as always wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

SOURCE: location of the spark plugs?

Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator from the engine. (the plastic thing in the middle) the coils sit right on top of the plugs. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors, then remove the bolt and pull out the coil. the sparkplug is at the bottom of the hole :) remember to torque the bolt back down to 89 in-lb (10 Nm) and use alittle dielectric grease on the end of the boot. and finally dont forget the anti-sieze compound on the threads of the new sparkplugs before installing :)

SOURCE: No spark at plug wires, but have spark at coil on 2002 chevy astro van

Is it a strong spark at the coil? If it is to weak it won't travel through the wire.

2002 chevy tahoe cylinder 8 misfiring

You either have a bad plug wire or have cracked one of the new plugs while installing them. Try watching under the hood while someone else accelerates the engine to locate the noise.
