1999 Slk230 hard top windows come down, not back. Nothing after that

another suggestion is that you need to have the code re-entered for the hardtop. I just had mine repaired due to a busted hydrolic hose, and the mechanic had a hard time getting it to work properly and ended up having to re-enter the codes.

Your windows are a completely different component than your top so it might be a fuse.

the switch that by the emergency brake is bad want let you let the top down unless the brake is in up position they go bad all the time at the bottom of the emergency brake hope this helps you
