TATA Indica dicor timing belt installing its pretty much the same as this video you will need a timing belt kit as its best to change then at the same time, when doing the pump or timing belt its recommended to change them both this means that the water pump lasts as changing the belt when the pump goes can be expensive. watch video it shows how to remove the timing belt you just need to do the same as well as the pump .you will need a new seal for the pump if the replacement does not come with one.. when the old pump is removed sand down inside were the pump sits just to clean it. and inside if it has a lot of rust. flush the area out with water and leave to dry before fitting the pump . when fitted us a 50/50 mix on the water system.
check whether the glow plugs wire is somwhere earthed.
SOURCE: test crank sensor in tata indigo
Hi Hussien, Salem, Remove the pick up sensor from its mounting and using an analogue test meter, select the mili voltage range and connect the probes to the two cables. Pass a metal screw driver or similar instrument close enough to the pickup to feel the magnetic pull but without touching it. If it is working correctly there should be a very small movement of the test meter needle. Shalom John
SOURCE: Hi how do i set timing on my tata indigo 1.4 td
dont think you can on a diesel of this modern age ,its set by the crank sensor and the computer ,so unless you can get some mapping software ?? their is no chance of changing anything
SOURCE: where is the thermostat housing on a Tata Indigo station wagon 2006
There can only be two places and they are located on the engine at the upper radiator hose or the lower hose. Some thermostats are built into the waterneck and may not appear like the thermostat. Im sorry I work on so many different vehicles and cant give exact location.
