it could be the brake light switch, you should find it under the dash around the area of the brake pedal , a wire may have come off or the switch could be loose & needs to be adjusted & tightened up, also check the wiring around the brake lights for any loose or disconnected wires..........hope this helps......cheers.
check the wiring to the rear sockets, including grounds then work your way forward, check the brake light switch then the signal light switch which i figure is bad but no sense replacing till you know everything else is good
This may be a simple fix, where the wheel jack or washer bottle is located in the back behind the panel, there should be connectors for the rear lights, it is possible that the plug has been dislodged, remove the panels and check the plug connections. Good luck.
I have a replacement switch for you. I had the same problem with the left side switch so I bought a set and changed the (ON/OFF) left side. Good as new, but I have a spare right side switch. $25 andf it is yours, Easy plug in replacement. 2- 8mm bolts drop the air bag, 2-phillips screws and out comes the switch. Pull plug, replace, reverse assembly. Easy. Maybe 5 minutes. E-mail me at [email protected].
