After running low on fluid it now shifts hard into high, then slips. 2008 nissan titan

need to replace the bands for those gears

Some cars have an anti theft that cuts the initial fuel off, the will run for a little Until you restart and then it won't start

You may need the transmission rebuilt, once it starts to slip that is the end in mist cases. Have a local transmission repair shop confirm my guess on this

You had leaking hoses replaced & now you
have other issues?

Some shop you went to

Sounds like it is low on fluid or the
pump is whining

When you can't take the noise anymore,
replace the pump

Have to use the correct fluid,maybe that
wasn't done as well

The Steering Rack may have failed from no
fluid changes every 3 years & that is your
restriction,not the hoses,rack may be bound

Top off your fluids including brake fluid and power steering fluid.

Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed.

Also check for leaking rear axle seals. Look for oil on the inside of rear wheels.

Either the fluid is low or you have a clogged trany filter or are starting to loose your transmition.If it is just low on fliud you will ruin your trany if you keep driving it with this condition.Check your fluid level with the engine running and if it is low fill it to the full line and test drive.

check the level of your brake fluid, it is probably low, causing the slip light to come on

Four wheel drive vehicles require you to put the transmission in neutral to go into low and to get out of low. That being said, if you still need to shut the engine down completely then your transmission needs an adjustment.
