I can't get mthe starter out of my 1994 Z-26 beretta. It has a 4 cylinder motor. I took one big bolt out and the other big bolt was already out missinge bolts.Why won't the starter budge?

Note the picture. Is this what you have? What about the rear bracket, #1? Maybe it's hung up on the flywheel? Did you try tapping on the starter motor with a big hammer, to see if it would come loose? I'm not saying beat it to *****.
