SOURCE: cold starts ok warms up shakes and stalls

check engine coolant temperature when it gets warmer, or at operating temperature, and verify that the temperature gauge is showing warmed up to operating temperature. If the coolant temperature sensor tells the computer the engine is cold it will over fuel and miss and the engine will die. When cooled down it will run fine until it warms up. Also could be coil if it starts missing after warmed up.

SOURCE: 4.3 vortec runs OK cold, runs rough or dies warm

Your cylinder 4 misfire would most likely be a bad plug wire. And it is common for cars to have driveability problems with a crankshaft sensor code, esspecialy after the car has warmed up that is when you will notice the problem. The crank sensors are pretty simple to change and relativley inexpensive maybe around 40.00 for the part. If you look around the crank shaft pulley you will see a sensor with usually 2 bolts and a couple of wires attatched to it. If the vehicle gets to a point that it won't start, spin the motor over watching the tach on your dash and if it is not moving while cranking that means the sensor gave out. Good luck. swiftautorepairs.com

2007 1,5 Proton Arena. Cold starting very rough (stalls). Once on temp all Ok. ps yellow engine light on whole time.

You need to have the diagnostic codes read. Anything else is pure guessing. Those codes can point you in the right direction and often will tell you exactly what is wrong.

High low idle, rough idle stalling

If it's surging, make sure your radiator is full. Do a tune up, plugs, wires, etc. Put some fuel injector cleaner in your fuel tank. On a cold start the vehicle compensates for being cold by adding fuel. Once it warms up the computer tells it to quit adding extra fuel. If it is a bad sensor of sorts, check engine light should come on.

I have a 2007 Suzuki xl7. When I first start down the road it seems to drive fine but within 1/2 to 1 mile it starts running very rough, leaping along. This goes for about another 1 to 3 miles. It runs...

ok and XL 7 but what engine options. gas, diesel, 2L , 2.5L?
what?
and most important , and never ever 1 time stated on this forum
what country.
leaping?

im not sure what you are saying.
it runs ok cold, and as it warms , the engine. it stalls.?
and what does same thing mean.?
my guess, it starts fine then stalls; hot.
but can you save the stall?

stalling is complex. can be many systems in the car.
but can be broken down to :
Ever did the 60k mile tune up,ever? if not why not.
never skip 60k\'s or the motor will run like garbage.

1: lost electrical power. to EFI .
2: bad engine, in that when it gets hot , it loses compression.
3: lost park. 1 or more cylinders, 4 or 6 you never said.
4: bad injection. 1 or 6 of them, flooding or starving.
5: bad fuel.
6:EGR sticking , usually this happens just before a stop sign.
7: if the stall was a bog and the fast right foot saved the stall, easy
the ISC is sticking closed.
