How do I reset airbag light on my 2009 polo comfortline

First off it is ******* to shut the light off due to liability issues.
If you have recently had a stereo install, that may have tripped the sensor. Any how the seat belt lock switches are also on the same circuit as the airbags. V.W. wants to make certain that the sensors and the seat belt lock switches are in place and operational before clearing the code. I've heard but not experienced that when the engine cycles on and off 200 times and there isn't any problems that it will reset itself. Like I stated, I don't know this to be factual. Good Luck
