I have the code P0014 exhaust camshaft position timing over adva

So, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the codes are as follows.

P0017-Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor 'B'
Possible causes
- Mechanical timing fault
- Blocked oil passage
- Low oil level
- Faulty Exhaust ('B') Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor
- Faulty Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

So in short, you can try the oil change if its been a while, always a good practice, however the fact that its throwing both of these codes together, makes me heavily suspect that your car is experiencing the worst of the possible causes, all your symptoms are tell-tale signs of your cars timing being off, meaning a timing belt job is needed. I highly recommend trying your best not to drive that vehicle, if the timing belt grenades on you while your driving, it will cause catastrophic damage to your motor. I cannot stress to you enough to limit your driving. Timing belt jobs as a general rule of thumb, are anywhere from $700-$1000 depending on the shop, anything more and they are ripping you off. P0014 Chevrolet Description
The Camshaft Position (CMP) actuator is attached to each camshaft and is hydraulically operated in order to change the angle of the camshaft relative to Crankshaft Position (CKP). The CMP actuator solenoid is controlled by the control module. The control module sends a pulse width modulated 12-volt signal to a CMP actuator solenoid. The solenoid controls the amount of engine oil flow to a CMP actuator. The CMP actuator can change the camshaft angle a maximum of 25 degrees. The control module increases the pulse width to accomplish the desired camshaft operation

code p0014 refers to camshaft position(CMP) actuator . exhaust /right /rear bank 1--timing over advanced/system performance===causes valve timing--engine mechanical fault--CMP actuator . If you have done no work on the engine then I would be replacing the exhaust cam actuator (CMP actuator)

The code P0014 is for Camshaft Positon Sensor Actuator Bank 1. The possible causes are incorrect camshaft timing, wiring problems (harness/wiring) in intake timing control valve solenoid system; continuous oil flows to VCT piston chamber or failed timing valve control solenoid(stuck open).
The code P0015 is for Camshaft Position -Timing Over-******** (Bank 1). Your problem will probably be that the timing will be slightly out, due to wear (stretch) of the timing chain; this will all be linked to the overall cold start issue and the timing position. Get that timing checked, or push for the full fix for the cold start timing issue.

P0015: Camshaft Position, Act B - bank 1, timing over

Check oil level and quality.
Remove n clean exhaust camshaft vanost actuator.
Do not refit to exhaust cam, but swap with inlet actuator.
clear codes...if eml on again see if fault moved to inlet cam. If so replace the actuator.

I think your sensors are pattern parts and the readings /resistances are not the same as the original parts ,try some bosch units is my first suggestion ,

hi, this is due to oil pressure send to the exhaust camshaft position sensor,, before u change this sensor or checking engine timing,, change the positon of sensor a to sensor b and check the dtc if it is still p0014, if other dtc will send to ecmit means that the sensor is the problem, if P0014 still the code, you may now check bank 1 timing
