It's either not getting spark fuel, or air. Always start with a tune up (don't forget the spark plugs) and go from there.

SOURCE: having issues 92 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera starting we changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition control module new battery, coils tested?? Help

Best thing you could do , take it to a qualified repair shop . You must like making auto parts store rich . Without testing to see what is missing we would only be guessing , just like you . Some people are just not ment to fix cars .

2003 oldsmobile alero turns but will not start

Sounds like the computer is dead, or not getting a signal from the crank sensor.
Can you check the crank sensor with a meter, or use a scanner to check data input to the computer ?

I am wondering where the ignition control module is located on my 1991 Olds Cutlass Cruiser SL?

I will assume it is a 2.5 liter. The control module is bolted to the back of the block underneath the intake manifold. The assembly incorporates the crank sensor, module and coils. Just follow the spark plug wires and you will find it.

I have a 92 Olds Cutlass Cierra with the 3.3 L V6. My daughter drove it to the store and it wouldn't start when she went to leave. The starter worked but the engine wouldn't start. After about 5...

If there is spark out of one coil than its not the crank sensor.

does this have one coil assembly with 6 posts or are there three individual coils?

If it has three individual coils try swapping the coil that works with one that doesn't. If the one that wasn't working now works and the one that was working doesn't than you have a bad module. If the coil that was working still works and the coil that doesn't work still doesn't work than you have a bad coil.

If it has one coil with 6 posts I would replace the coil and the module. It is not uncommon for the coils to go bad and take out the module at the same time.

MY 92 OLDS 88 HAS NO SPARK.HAVE. HAVE POWER GOING TO ECM.HAS 3 COILS..FIGURE THEY ALL CANT GO OUT AT SAME TIME.REPLACED CRANKSHAFT POS. SENSOR AND HARMONIC BAL. 8 MONTHS BACK

Sounds like the ignition module or the crank sensor. Even though the crank sensor is fairly new doesn't mean anything. Remove the ignition module and take it to a parts store. Most parts stores can test it.

While driving, the engine dies.

I had the same thing happen on a 91 Olds 88. Replaced crank shaft position sensor, coil, and ignition module. That solved the problem. I think the culprit was the CSP Sensor, but changed all three so can't say for sure.
