SOURCE: will a 1993 chevy 4.3 5 speed transmission fit a
depends is the 5 speed out a 4X4 if so yes if not you will have to change the tail housing to go to the transfer case hope this helps
SOURCE: Transmission Control Module
Before condemning the transmission, I
would check the shift cable for proper operation. Look at the side of
the transmission where the shift cable attaches. Have someone shift the
transmission from PARK to FIRST. The engine should not be running. If
the operating lever on the transmission moves, then you probably do
have an internal transmission problem.
If the
operating lever does not move, you have a broken shift cable or it has
popped of it's attachments at the operating lever or gear shift handle.
A bad
Transmission Control Module (TCM) would not keep it from shifting. In
the event of a bad TCM, the transmission would go into fail safe mode
and you could continue driving the vehicle.
SOURCE: ECM Location
For one i dont need your vin its a z24 which means it has a 2.4l engine it does not have an ECM it has a PCM powertrain control module, which is located for your car in the right rear corner topside of your engine bay, in 1995-2001 it is located inside the right front fender. I hope this info helps...
SOURCE: pcv location on 2002 s10
it is a tube connected to the valve cover. So there really isn't a valve.
