Does the fuel gauge correctly show fuel level? If so, the problem will probably be with your instrument cluster. If not, your sending unit is probably stuck - try a good quality fuel system cleaner.
I assume this is the only fault showing. The likelihood is three fold A the gauge B the tank sender unit C bad/poor earth. Locate the earth wire from the tank sender unit. Remove from body clean up and also clean fixing point. If this does no cure it I would be suggesting tank sender unit which you can test with a multi,meter.. Failing gauges are unusual but if all else fails its dash out and replace gauge.

How to replace the fuel sending unit in the 02-03 Trailblazers. I also show how the fuel gauge works and how ...
probably not all that difficult to fix it you have patience. The needle going way past full is an indication of a short before the sender unit or in the sender unit. Pull the power wire from the sender unit and see what the gauge does. IT should stay on the empty mark. IT may be just a fuel sender unit .
Nonsense. I just programmed a new remote start fob on my 2011 Santa Fee limited and it worked just great. Follow the steps below and see what happens. 1. Open the drivers side door 2. Turn the Vehicle ignition to the ON position (Do not start the vehicle) 3. Locate the disarm/program button. (look closely, it is located on the wiring harness just inside the lower dash. it could be located just inside the fuse cover.) 4. Press and hold the disarm/programming button for 10 to 15 sewconds, the horm will beep 3 times. Release the disarm/programming button. 5. On the fob, press the Find/Panic button One time and the horn will beep one time. 6. Turn off vehicle ignition. (YOUR DONE)

The fuel filter on your vehicle is an integral part of the fuel pump/sender assembly located inside the fuel tank. It is serviced only as a complete assembly and cannot be replaced alone.
GM Camaro/Firebird 1993-1998 Repair Guide
Fuel Pump - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (see
Figures 1 and 2) The fuel pump is part of the fuel sender assembly
located inside the fuel tank.
Release the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative
battery cable.
Drain the fuel tank, then raise and safely support the vehicle.
Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
Clean the area surrounding the sender assembly to prevent
contamination of the fuel system.
To remove the fuel sender from the tank, remove the fuel sender
assembly nuts and retaining ring. Carefully remove the sending unit from
the fuel tank. Discard the O-rings.

If necessary, separate the fuel pump from the sending unit
assembly.
Fig. 2: Fuel sender and pump assembly
To install:
If removed, install the fuel pump to the sending unit. If the
strainer was removed, it must be replaced with a new one.
Inspect and clean the O-ring mating surfaces.
Install a new O-ring in the groove around the tank opening. If
applicable, install a new O-ring on the fuel sender feed tube.
Install the fuel sender assembly as follows:
The fuel pump strainer must be in a horizontal position, and when
installed, must not block the travel of the float arm. Gently fold the
strainer over itself and slowly position the sending assembly in the
tank so the strainer is not damaged or trapped by the sump walls.
Install the retaining ring and nuts, then tighten the nuts to 63
inch lbs. (7 Nm).
Install the fuel tank assembly.
Lower the vehicle.
Fill the fuel tank, tighten the fuel filler cap and connect the
negative battery cable.
Turn the ignition switch to the
ON
position for 2 seconds,
OFF
for 10 seconds, then back to the
ON
position. Check for fuel leaks.
Hope this help (remember rated this post). Good luck.
the early models had the fuel filter mounted in the engine bay against the firewall. follow the fuel lines from the motor to the firewall. if there is no filter there then it is the late model and the filter is part of the fuel sender unit, this is mounted in the fuel tank and includes the fuel pump. this type is difficult to replace, and sometimes requires replacment of the entire sender unit.
Best way to tell is to call a nissan spare parts dept witn you VIN number and ask if this filter is replacable.
