Where is the safty lock mechanizim located on the tranny for a 1993 mazda mpv van

The transmission select button varies the shift points , eg; when in 'econo' the trans will shift sooner than when in 'power' mode.
'power' will be to keep the transmission in a higher gear (engine RPMs higher = more power ).

its in the fuel tank. remove the seat in the rear and lift the floor covering theres an access cover to get to the fuel pump there. if there is a hanger assembly available for it i suggest you buy that it comes complete and ready to install. hope this helps

The harnes u buy for the van should plug right in and it is located i think inside the left hand rear wheel wall carpet. Hope this helps.

It is located on the passenger side of the engine,kind of in behind and below the alternator. These are not only hard to see but unfortunately very difficult to get at and change.

bottom of engine also has several wires connected to it

Oil pump is located inside the oil pan. You must remove it to access the pump..

nutral safty switch out of adjustment,its either on the tranny or stearing colum depending on what kind and year of van you have

it is located under the skid plate. you'll need to remove the front drive, the alternator, and power steering pump out to remove the starter. need to remove the bottom cover to see it.
