Have a Nissan almera coded immo and transponder key, still don't start, check for fuel and spark, fuel and spark is available, what can it be, car is just swinging.

why not look at the IMMO lamp on the dash
it must glow corrected per the users guide
if not it cuts fuel even at 10sec. run.
you never said how long it runs.
nor if fast right foot can keep it going.?
not stay running has up to 50 causes
a shop tech uses tools to find the 5 paths of failures

1. (IMMO angry is first) security lamp glowing
2. all fuses good.
3. bad engine(compression fails) on any.
4. bad spark, at each spark plug.
5. bad fueling(psi pressure tests)

there is test for each. meters ,gauges and scan tools

what does lock mode mean, just can drive it?

It sounds like you are subscribing to the "let's try changing this" method of car repair.

Have you disconnected the battery recently when this problem started? It is one of the classic symptoms of a good engine immobilizer. Is the theft light flashing on the dash?

It has a sophisticated engine control system and will generate codes for everything that is wrong with it. You just connect a pro grade scan tool computer to it.

this lamp stays on key on , that means IMMO is failing.
for that KEY car came with 2 keys use the 2nd key

not once scanning the PCM in it tells you why it fails.

now if immo is happy?
there are 50 causes of no starts
engine bad or EFI and all sensors and more. bad.
there are only 2 paths here.
do that tests or get the car repair in a shop.
to do test one needs tools got them?
Learn that EFI is what keeps an engine running

& sustained and spark good fuel pressure must be at spec.

the PCM cuts fuel; for many reasons
Look at IP cluster IMMO lamp first (key fail/ security)
even 10seconds after starting the engine if IMMO fails. it cuts fuel and spark both. so we. (try both keys)
check fuses first !!!
scan the PCM for DTC errors, like IMMO not happy.
or DTC for SRS crash detection, cuts fuel too
or PCM detects spark hard failures it cuts fuel via injectors.
then check line rail pressure fuel next.(a gauge TOOL)
thAT prime pulse you see is not a good way to test fuel. EVER. (we test dead engines
so engine is dead. cranked fast.
we check pressure at the rail cranking, to SPEC PSI
if good , here you were barking up the wrong tree.
most cars have no such safety valve, its not a ford or mazda car. it is a NISSAN. stop reading ford forums.

like TPS bad. (ground wire to it cut)
THE PCM cuts fuel, for lots of reasons.
SPARK dead or SRS bags have crash mode setr
the pump can not be cleaned.
it is fuel cooled and fuel lubricated, so never run it dry, or damaged IT.
check voltage to the pump plug, 11vdc cranking
ONLY it is a 2 man job that. if 11dc there pump is bad.
zero pressure, or tank is empty
and if pump power is dead the problem is in front of car. not in the tank,
bad fuse, bad relay fuel or learn to scan the PCM first
it will tell you if the other failures are causing this dead engine, why fear a scan tool>? as most do here.

EFI 101 day, how does fuel flow in FI fuel injected systems

first off running any pump there dry wrecks it,
the fuel pump is fuel lubricated and cooled (both) so dry is super super bad. (carb days are gone now)


ok here is how EFI works
the EFI brain called, PCM, does not inject if the PCM detects spark bad. (and tells you if scanned that) this is to avoid crash and burn as seen on TV>
pure hard computer logic inside PCM does that.

Like:
CMP dead or CKP dead is spark dead hard. so no fuel flows by DESIGN (and by law too)

OK PASS-KEY lamp is HAPPY.
check spark (oops forgot step 3, ) and spark can be tested on all gas engine cars for 100 years, and then we use instant start in a can.
and it runs for 3econds, but IMMO also cuts spark at 1 to 10 seconds, immobilizing the car/engine .(yes tricky, but gee the IMMO lamp did not lie to you, if it is blinking in unhappy mode.

so we now scan THE pcm (OBD2 PORT) AND OMG IT KNOWS WHAT IS WRONG,BUT YOU FAILED TO ASK IT.
and last is spark never first.
fuel pressure at spec cranking ,using a fuel pressure gauge.
a 2 man test, one cranks and 2nd checks pressure for factory spec pressure PSI. (or bar)

1. IT CAN NOT BE HACKED.! (design goal A#1)!

3. immo ends theft OF CAR, see rule 1 , zero hacking'
4. the lamp on the dash by any name means 3 things bad key , bad immo or all is good. the glove box guide tells you for sure how that IMMO lamp works, lost the book ?, will in uSA it is free, at all dealers and online (by laws, safety here)
5. some FOBs have a tiny battery , non passive keys to start. so check for that
6. never have both keys inside car same time for sure passive key or they both try to win the ACCESS.
7. if all keys fail (good before) scan the PCm and it sure will tell you why it fails, (bad key , or iMMO modules 1, or 2 failing, etc.

passive keys /fobs , the battery only opens doors.
passive , keys for the engine , the key lock ignition is RFID type design. this means batter in key is for stating the engine'
Nissan Anti-Theft System = nATs
NATS is a transponder passive system, no battery needed in key.
these parts are all married, that means only scans find the truth.

NATs tells ECU to not allow engine to run, NO NATS does not stop cranks this car.
the 2 fuses above power the P;/N RELAY (starter relay)
if in P or N the relay closes at key start wire to relay coil action
the 40 amp fuse passes through relay and starter spins and cranks the engine, over.




this is it, if you see wire hacks here, for remote start.
not good that. as you can see IMMO has no bock here.
IMMo cuts spark/fuel

Code 345 means the cam sensor on bank two is not sending the correct signal to the engine computer. So no spark.
If you have replaced the sensor, the problem could be the cam or the wiring from the sensor to the computer.
