2002 Hyundai santa fe 2.7 v-6 Had an ecu failure, replaced it with a new one. It now has sluggish throttle response in neutral, and low power on acceleration.

0-80 kph is over 30 seconds. throttle position over 1/4 doesn't affect acceleration. At max throttle it increases in 100 rpm surges at aprox 2 second intervals. doesn't show any temperature rise, or smoke. shows code U0000 if driven at 1/4 throttle, shows o2 lambda, speed sensor/range, performance sensors, and multi misfire codes when driven at higher throttle position. any geniuses out there?

SOURCE: code P0501 vehicle speed sensor A range/

I found an answer to this in the reverse direction. While changing my front brakes, I noticed that the sprocket pickup for the speed sensor on the front passenger side half shaft that works with the sensor was cracked and ready to fall off. I removed it so that it wouldn't fly off and puncture a tire. I do NOT have Anti Lock Brakes on my 2001 Santa Fe. I started up the car wondering what to expect and experienced a P0501, P1529, P0500 and a second P0501. Looks like it time for a new half shaft (Axle).

SOURCE: I replaced the throttle position sensor on my ,02 hyundai santa fe,now it will not shift gear and check engine light is on with throttle position sensor circuit A high voltage, how can I fix this

how did you know the TPS was bad? did you break anything (vacuum tube, wire connector) during repair? good ground? was it really clean in there when you installed new TPS? i don't know the santa fe, but did you disconnect the battery during this? you may have to reset the OBD system. if you have the OBD tester i think it has this function, or check usere manual, possibly a combination of actions involving ignition, shifter and/or lights.

A simple google search reveals this is mass air flow voltage low. This can be caused by a poor connection, vacuum leak, non metered air entering throttle body, bad MAF.

Accelerator position sensor 2 circuit low voltage

Check wiring connections between ECU and TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). Chances are your TPS has malfunctioned. The ECU (Engine Control Unit) monitors TPS signals at regular intervals. I trust your computer (ECU) to have done it's job... Replace the TPS
Go to www.hmaservice.com and register your vehicle by VIN #..
you'll then have access to wiring diagrams, shop manuals,
service bulletins, illustrations, etc.

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe, 2002, 4 cylinders, 2.4 L, gasoline engine, automatic transmission front wheel drive. I recently changed the crankshaft angle sensor because it got damaged (the wires got out...

You describe an issue which should be diagnosed by an authorized and certified Hyundai Technician. Here's what happens when a coil fails: Overload of the drivers in the in the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) as well as the IFS (Ignition Failure Sensor). Did you happen to have a "Check Engine Light" and did you retrieve the DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) from the PCM (ECU (Powertrain Control Module/Engine Control Unit)? I'm going to assume you had a coil failure.... occurances like this also damage the IFS.. when that happens, usually, it also damages the coil drivers in the computer (ECU/PCM)... this is why I recommend you have it diagnosed by a qualified Hyundai Tech.
