Changed fuel pump twice and fuel gauge still doesn't work. 2005 Dodge ram 1500 4.7L. PLEASE HELP

When the fuel pump was replaced was the fuel level sending unit replaced also ? Or was it part of the new fuel pump module ? If the sending unit was also replaced an the gauge still isn't working you have a faulty gauge or wiring problem , maybe . Your best bet mite be to have a qualified repair shop check it.

Dodge ram 1500 fuel delivery

I changed a pump several years ago and learned after new unit did not operate that some aftermarket fuel pumps had to have the wires crossed to the opposite connections as the aftermarket unit was designed to fit various models. Check internet for reference.

After market fuel pump installed in 2004 malibu maxx why did the fuel gauge stop working?

it sounds like a problem with the sending unit. This is usually with the fuel pump itself. The wiring may not have been hooked up quite right or the sending unit may just be bad. That will cause the fuel gauge to stop working. The wiring harness for different cars is different and even varies sometimes just on year of the vehicle.

1995 Dodge Neon

A few things could end with these results. A faulty Fuel Sending unit, an issue with the gauge directly or a poor connection at the sending unit its self. I would start with the wiring and go from there. Check at the fuel tank where the wiring connects for the fuel pump and sending unit for corrison, a good cleaning and some ***-electric grease will do wonders.
