How to fix a 1993 t bird cruise control - 1993 Ford Thunderbird

I had a '93 Lumina a few years back and when the cruise control went out, I found that the vacuum hose had deteriorated and there was no vacuum to run the actuator (left side, where the cable from the throttle body ends). I replaced the hose (50 cents) and it worked fine again.

chk your vacuum line that go to the cruise control unit start there

fuses are on the dash, left side by driver's knee.

does the wire plus up, if so its should work fine

theres the control valve assembly under the hood and sometimes its in the stearing colum

First, you have to retrieve ABS code, not Powertrain code.
You are looking in the wrong direction.
When there is a Faulty ABS code the Abs module remove the cruise control function.
After you fix the ABS faulty code and erase code you will have the cruise control back again.

replace the speed tranducer, located on the gearbox

THE 2amp FUSE IS IN THE GLOVE BOX FUSE PANEL.

DID YOU CHECK THE RECALLS?? MY 93 F150 HAD A RECALL W/ THE CRUISE CONTROLL (WICH I HAVENT DONE..LOL) AND SUPOSIVLY IF IT ISN'T FIXED IT'LL CAUSE A ENGINE FIRE.. ACCORDING TO THE FORD DEALER IF THIS RECALL SERVICE IS PERFORMED IT CAN POSIBLY MAKE THE CRUISE WORK AGAIN.. (MINE DON'T WORK EITHER) I DONO.. MABE IT'S THAT.

sounds like you have a huge vacuum leak at the engine, check under the hood for a sucking noise, I think you will find one.
