I own a 2003 mitsubishi galant v6 and my dash lights and tal light wrnt out but if i wire them directly into the fuse box my tal lights come back can you help me please

hi from uk may i suggest you check out the brake lights switch ? it has a plunger that when b/pedal is pressed the plunger moves out then makes the circuit that puts b/lights on this switch is plastic and it is prone to dust and actually dust creates friction on plunger then plunger sticks in and lights are in op ? if you look under dash where b/pedal pivots you will see switch the plunger should move when pedal pressed ? if not then use WD40 SPAY OR SIMILAR to ease plunger you can twist plunger to+fro to free it or unscrew switch from its location after unplug wires/socket hope this helps ?

Can you please turn on your headlights to full beam, and confirm if you have strong brightness?

If your battery is in good condition, then there is likely a short somewhere in the main power line (coming from the red lead of your battery).

You should also inspect the MAIN engine power fuse, situated in the Engine fuse box, to ensure it hasn't blown.

the door trigger wire is inside the chassis. it goes to the fuse box underneath the dash, where you can tap your alarm. it is usually the fuse for the dome/door light.

Yes, There is a fuse box ... your owners manual will asssit you in locating it and the suspect fuse ... do your parking lamps work? Is your dimmer turned all the way down?

i would not say its a fuse mitsubishi cars tened to blow the led blubs behind the dash thats why id say your shift lights arnt comeing on
