How to remove. Dash cover on my 2002 Honda od yssey

check fuses
the OD lamp fails of the transmission fails and some suzuki
cars do not allow OD in 4wd, , is this car 4wd featured.
the OD may flash too for transmission errors.
you must scan the PCM (tcm inside) to see the reason why.
but put transfer case in to 2wd.
the operators guide covers this, for sure if 4wd car and chapter named the same.

if you mean the plastic cover that covers the seat belt , they are normally held in place by the trim that covers it at the door openings
pull the trim into the door opening and the cover will come free

Remove the dash cluster and replace the burn out bulbs

Will have to replace the bulb. This is done from inside the trunk. Remove carpeted cover and there are twist type sockets in the housing which hold the bulbs. For the dash, you will have to remove the cluster assy and locate the correct bulb, twist and remove socket assy. it is a small bulb in the dash!

If all the other dash lights work and dim ok then need to remove dash cover and replace bulb

look on dash lt side small cover behind, or under dash on lt side, or just above brake pedal under dash. under hood black box with removable top .ck all you will find.

did you try turning it off and on? it that doesnt work, you may have a trans problem.

from what info i can find, open drivers door and it is behind the cover on side of dash

Yes, it is very involved. According to the Haynes manual you will have to first remove the radiator cover, the radiator grill, the inner fender splash shield pins (attached to the splash shield and front bumper cover), the front bumper cover, and finally the headlight housing. A DIYer can do this, but I recommend that you spend the $15 and get the Haynes manual because the pictures alone are worth it. Oh, and get a trim panel removal tool as well (cheap).
