Engine id number location on ford 390 engine

there is no reset switch,either take it to a big name auto parts store and have them use a scanner to give you the codes and turn off the light,or just disconnect battery for 3min and the light should go out. the first suggestion is the better, this way you will know what turned the light on in the first place, get back to me if you need more help, please rate my fix

The radiator does, however, have a pet-**** or drain plug on the left side of the radiator. It is here where you can drain the radiator and engine. Keep in mind that all the water will not be removed because by nature of the block's position in the compartment, unless you use a flushing tee, you won't be able to remove all the anti-freeze. ---------------- It's called a drain **** and it's straight down behind and under the radiator on the left side way down there. Even though it's way down there it's still easier than getting to it from the bottom. It's not a typical screw type device though. It has a notch (metal tip coming out of one side of it and no threads. Just turn 3/4 turn and pull straight out. thanks

SOURCE: need to id engine number t0717fcz

If that number is for a small block Chevrolet engine, the T stands for Tonawanda NY plant, 0717 is for the build date of July 17, and FCZ is for a 1985 Chevrolet light duty truck 305 V8 with 4 bbl carb.
