hmmm... 80mph @6000 rpm is not normal. you are needing a lot of power to produce 80mph. it seems clutch assembly needs replacement. clutch assembly includes clutch disc, fly wheel, and release bearing. might as well check your clutch master if the vacuums are still working properly. this might be the culprit to the stuck up clutch pedal.
after replacing the clutch assembly, you can reach 80mph @ 4000-4500rpm
if the fuel is cold its normal but if the fuel is hot and u have this problem ..
1st : u have to change the oil filer for transmission, if the problem remains u have to change the valve body
2nd: test the transmission and the engine by the scanner, u have to test if the is fault inside the control unit, or the fault in the engine control unit to the transmission control unit
