What should the gap be when changing spark plugs in my Hyundai excel 1999. Twin can please.

• read the service manual
• ask honda this.
• ask NGK , below.

• there are 3 engines all 1.6, one is CNG. 0.032"
• the SOHC,, 0.052
• and DOHC (means twin cam) OE-Recommended Gap: 0.044"

no vin told
no 8 th digit VIN told (engine code0
honda will not talk to you lacking VIN, see why>????????

You won't need to change the gap. When you buy spark plugs for most modern cars the plugs are usually preset to the correct gap. It is usually only adjusted if you are changing the performance level of the car.

should be printed on sticker under the hood where it tells the timing ect.

You most certainly install a baby seat in it, but you will have to make sure that you have an accredited anchor bolt attached at the parcel shelf...there should be a blanking plug here to attach one

what contacts, u have no points, solid state ignition? spark plug setting is GAP=0.044"

these plugs should be NGK BKR5ES-11 or PK16PR11 ND and plug gap at .044". hope this helps. cheers.

Check your fuel lines, fuel filter, feul tank. Sounds like you have a nasty clog there.

did it start before you changed plugs?

Hi,

Pls try to check/replace your distributor cap and/or the rotor. A friendly reminder, pls check that the spark plug gaps are within specifications, the wider the gap the the more arcing from the rotor to the bottom terminals of the distributor cap, the faster the burning/deterioration. If at all possible, try to replace with Bosch or Beck Arnley brands.
