SOURCE: 97 Ford Exployer is first started, dash lights blinks on and off

sounds like an alarm system that has the horn disconnected,so when you start the vehicle it trips the alarm then resets itself after awhile .see if there is an aftermarket Alarm system under the dash and remove it!

2013 ford exployer will not start ( or turn over ) battery is not dead the remote key entry quit working had to open door by hand. drove home then car would not start

Is the security light lit or flashing , located on instrument cluster ? Anti-theft system problem possibly , disables the starter . Your best bet , have it towed to a qualified repair shop or have a mobile lock smith come to where the vehicles an have a new key programmed . Nothing you can do or try to do .

My 94 ford exployer eddie bauer will not start i chad battery check thats good i cant even start it with a jump

If the car turns over at all then you may be looking at a fuel or spark supply problem, the engine may not be getting fuel to start or may not be getting any spark from the spark plugs. If when you turn the key the engine does not turn over and there is no noise then it is most likely that your starter has stopped working.

Need the location of the fuel filter on a 1997 Ford Exployer AWD

The fule filter is up inside the frame on the drivers side. You will need to get special tools to get it off. Since it is a high pressure system you CANNOT cut it out and replace it. Must get the special tools.

It is near the computer which is located above the drivers rear tire. Access it through the panel in the back where the jack is stored.
