SOURCE: location of the camshaft position

It is located at the right top of engine (V6). Looking from the front of the car, it is just past the plastic cover over the engine. It has a silver clip (looks like a paper clip). remove clip and unplug sensor.

SOURCE: camshaft position sensor location

crank sensor is a component used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control ignition system timing and other engine parameters. Before electronic crank sensors were available, the distributor would have to be manually adjusted to a timing mark on the engine.

The crank sensor can be used in combination with a similar camshaft position sensor to monitor the relationship between the pistons and valves in the engine, which is particularly important in engines with variable valve timing. It is also commonly the primary source for the measurement of engine speed in revolutions per minute.

Crank sensors in engines are usually comprised of magnets and an inductive coil. They are principally based on the Hall effect. Common mounting locations include the main crank pulley, the flywheel, or occasionally on the crankshaft itself.

Some engines, such as GM's Premium V family utilise crank position sensors which read a reluctor ring integral to the Harmonic Balancer. This is a much more accurate method of determining the position of the crankshaft, and allows the computer to determine within a few degrees the exact position of the crankshaft (and thereby all connected components) at any given time.

SOURCE: my hyundai santefe won't start.

First of all, when you start, will it turn over at all or not? You say you have no power to the injectors. How did you verify this? If so, it's possible your fuel system fuse is burnt out. The fuel pump relay powers only the fuel pump. A separate relay and fuse take care of the injection system itself. Check those also. Until you know more about what the cam is doing, though, you might want to check it thoroughly. Also, just getting compression in one cylinder is not a verification of whether the cam is turning. There are bound to be more than one cylinder that will still build compression even if the cam is stopped. You might need to check more than one cylinder, or go as far as to do a compression test.

I have 2006 hyundai elantra with a bad camshaft sensor. I have part on hand. Anything special I need to do besides swap out the part? Cam Shaft Location?

I assume you determined the diagnostic trouble code for the sensor was TRUE/VALIDATED?
If so, then there is NO reason to do anything else but 'swap out the part.' Your second question is somewhat puzzling... the cam shaft is on TOP of the engine - the sensor's location (standing on the passenger side of the vehicle with the hood open, is on the left side of the engine at approximately the 10 o'clock position of the cam.... the connector to it is at the 9 o'clock position.

My 2006 hyundai azera limited passenger seat is locked in the down position. Any idea on how to fix?

Check the fuse--it may be out. Fuse box is on the side of the dash (when the driver's side door is open) next to the steering wheel. Pull hard--the fuse names are on the panel door you just pulled out. Fuse puller is in the "engine room" according to the manual for a 2006 Hyundai Azera Limited, though I haven't been able to find the "engine room", yet.
