Check for gas and spark to the engine. I'm thinking a '90 accord might be multi-point injection, although they transitioned about then from throttle body injection to multi-port injection. Either way, you need to check if the injectors are firing and putting gas into the engine. Does the fuel pump work? Is there pressure in the gas feed line?
Usually, a no start is because the engine has lost either fuel or spark. You need to check for both. Use a spark tester from parts store- a cheap and easy test for spark.

I replaced starter on 1989 f150 5.0 now have no spark

Mike, Check for diagnostic codes. Check fuses/relays,wires/plugs for pinched, damage or corrosion. Could be a lot of things like distributor armature, cap, rotor, stator, ICM, coil, spark plugs, wires, make sure ground is good to distributor. Use the attached forum links, instruction, guides to help diagnose ignition spark problems, Good luck

Engine won't start

the spark plug wires can be confusing but a 4 cylinder is not that hard from the front of the engine being where the pulleys & belts are its 1,2,3,4 on the coil or distributor it can be in counter or clockwise rotation 1&3,2&4 or 1&4,2&3 likely its 1&3,2&4 hope you find this helpful

1990 honda accord wont fire

Do you have spark, do you have fuel pressure? it is one of these or a camshaft timing problem. I would start with checking the spark at the plugs 1st.

I have a 90 accord lx/dx.I replaced fuel filter, air filter and now the car won't stay running and once it does start after running it about 2 blocks if you let off the accelerator it putters like...

Have your engine scoped out by a reputable service shop. Was it running better before you replaced those items? Have you done a tune up lately? Did you buy bad gas? Are your fuel injectors clean? Is the fuel pump going out on you? Are your spark plugs and spark plug wires good? Are their any sensors that may need replacing? I have a 1990 Honda Accord and the car just wants to keep taking my money. It needs too much love to keep any more.

I have a 1990 Cadillac Deville that has been sitting for approximately a year. I have put a new battery, new plugs, and it has fuel and is getting fuel pressure. It will not start, it turns over but will...

If it was running fine prior to sitting, then the timing is probably OK. If it was sitting because of a blown head gasket then that's another story.
Did you check the pressure with a guage or just by probing the test port and watching fuel come out?
Make sure you are getting spark (probe the plug wire as close to the plug as possible with a test light or remove the plug from the engine, put back in wire and watch the plug for spark). If good move on to the coil, etc. Check the ignition relay.
Check the compression

1994 honda accord will start fine for weeks then all of a sudden won t start but if i turn on the key put it in gear an pop the clutch it will start but sometimes it will start ok sometimes it won,t

Hi,from the clues you give I guess that the starter motor is in need of a service (worn brush gear) I presume that when it does not start that the engine does not make a cranking noise.
If the engine is cranking but failing to fire up, then it could be anything from the fuel pressure pump to the engine control system. there is a lot of clever stuff going on when you start your engine. Some simple things you should try first. Check visually that all vacuum hoses and wiring is secure and in good visual order( dodgy looking wires are prone to intermittent failure!... Do this next time it fails to start and recheck after gently adjusting ? wd 40 may ease problem temp. Also check service of spark plugs especially correct gap.
Make a note of engine temp/ and air temp. loose wires are usually more loose in cold mornings!.. starting enrichment may not be sufficient with a wide plug gap. Check battery for full power output on starting. will it pull the car on the starter /
