Replacing heater coil on 1994 honda accord

Replacing the heater CORE ? Drain the cooling system disconnect the heater hoses under the hood at the fire wall then remove the glove box inside the car . then remove the heater box as a whole unit . Take to your work bench now seperate the the unit and remove the heater core.install the new core and reinstall every thing that you took out in reverse order . This is a 5 hour job and if you are not a technician i would not recommend trying this with out buying the work shop manuel for you to follow step by step . You can buy one online at a book store or a parts store . The Chilton manuels are the best in my opinion . Good Luck

Moldy smell from ventillation

Many times small pieces of leaves and other organic stuff can get lodged in the evaporator core, making a musty stink. You will have to clean and disinfect the evaporator core to get rid of the smell.See if you can find a kit for this at a good parts store(like NAPA or Carquest)

I am wanting to change the heater core in my 2004 Suziki Forenza myself. I am looking for a maintenance manual for this model vehicle or someone with the knowledge of how the dash comes off.

you can go to any auto parts store and buy a haynes manual for your specific vehicle. they are based on a complete teardown of vehicle. the manuals are only about 20 to 25 dollars. have a good day !! ( then you will have it just in case something else goes wrong !!)

Heater core neeeds to be replaced what has to be removed to get to it

Hi there, All of your dash and heat exchanger. The core is in the firewall behind the glove box. Has to removed from the inside. This a big and nasty all day job. Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual at your local AP store for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step RR section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy

NO HEAT

Well if there is still air coming in you have 1 of 2 problems 1st= install a new t-stat, they are not to expensive you can pick them up @ any auto parts store, 2nd= your heater core is plugged up, for this you must unhook the lines and shoot air/water combo to flush your system.

Heater core

The automotive repair manuels that you can buy at the major part stores such as Autozone, Advance or ORiley's do a good job of describing how the heater core is removed. Most heater cores come out from under the dash, while a rare few are removed from the firewall.

One wonders why you are changing the heater core. Are you getting steam on the inside of your windshield? Usually the best indication your heater core is leaking, or are you getting no heat? In which case it make be duct doors.
