I have a 2005 ES330. It is a Lexus, you need the dealership, or a good auto-electrician. The dealership connects is to a scan tool computer that has factory software on it and makes electrical issues very easy.

Hello, to help you alleviate your headache and time consuming catastrophe of disassembling the factory alarm to start your Ram, I believe I can help wrap up the wound a thief has left you with. First off, the immobilizer involved in the ignition and the chip in the key is not a easy task to just "jump". In actuality with less than $200.00 your Ram could be on the road without having to "rig" or "bypass" the factory alarm system. Simple to change out the ignition key switch. Usually comes with programming instructions, ignition switch with immobilizer attached, and new keys to reprogram yourself. Available at any local auto parts stores or dealership. Max time, 1 hour. Simple tools needed. Second option is to go to dealership, with VIN number of your ram, and buy a new key with a chip matching OEM immobilizer and ignition switch. Coat is under $100.00. Only thing about this is you will have to have locksmith cut the key to fit the ignition.

I'm not sure it's possible to bypass the immobolizer.
It may need to be towed to a Toyota dealer to have a new key/transponder programmed to the vehicle.
It may be possible to have a locksmith do it onsite...but that depends on the vehicle. Many have to be programmed by a dealer.

The wiring should be mostly self contained in the seat. All you should need to provide is a power source and a ground. There are many places to tap into a 12V source.

ignition or starter relay should be checked first.
Faulty ignition switch might be an issue.
You will still need an ignition source before you think about the push button start.
A friend has the same problem, and its a computer issue. (underhood, pass side low on firewall)

Hi!
This problem appears to relate to your Immobiliser, When the alarm kept going off you couldn't shut it down with the fob? so after removing the power source to the alarm system and re-connection this fail to start because either the Fob has flat batteries in it or it needs re-coding.
I'm sure if you take the fob to any decent Electrical store or even your local car dealership they will change the batteries for you to eliminate that problem.
Unfortunately if the fob needs coding this can only be done via the cars own dealership.
