Check for clearance between the rotor and the caliper,and caliper to the rim.Make sure one ,or more of the brake pads where not accidently put on backwards,with the metal on the rotor,it happens sometimes.

on the passenger side of the radiator, there is a temp switch, see if the wires got disconnected or cut. is your A/C on when you start the car? if so, turn it off, maaybe forcing the fans on.

make sure it is full of coolant, next check for a bad fan relay, to see if fans are ok! run a wire from positve post on battery to positive on fan motor, ground other side if need be. if fans do not work they are bad, if they do work, check relay to fan and coolant tempurature sensor if needed.
