SOURCE: changing air filter 1996 chrysler town and country

loosen the clamp for the air snorkel at the throttle body. Loosen the clamp right under the reserve air chamber thats in between the radiator and the battery. Remove the breather hose from the air chamber. remove the two bolts holding the air chamber to the upper radiator support. remove the air chamber. there will be two retainers that need to be released on the transmission side of the air box and the the air box cover can be removed and the air filter changed

Where is the carburator on the 1995 chrysler lebaron? The car has gas and turns over but won't start.

This wouldn't have a car if it's this new I don't believe. It likely has a throttle body fuel injection. If you have an air filter and filter housing on the top of the motor, than it's directly under it. If you have the type with a box air cleaner not on motor, then you have multi-port fuel injection and don't have carb or throttle body

Black smoke is excessive burnt fuel. White is excessive unburnt fuel. Have your turbo checked and the air filter. Good Luck

1992 Chrysler LeBaron 3.0 L. V6 Engine runs beautifully but after 16-20 miles highway driving engine stalls as if flooded, or as if fuel is cut-off. After sitting for a few minutes, will start and run...

the owner probably rerouted the fuel line because like my 92 chrysler lebaron v6 3.0 the fuel lines keep seeming to come off and the clamps always break. I have replaced the clamps 5 times in a month and replaced filters 2 times in 2 months. The only thing i could think of is that your fuel is being cut off possibly because there is no filter to clean all the junk out. Try putting a fuel filter on and see if that will work
