It should be on the drivers side and it looks like the oil dipstick. Usually the top of the handle is shaped like a " T ". Most of the time it will be yellow and say trans on it. It may be lower than the oil dipstick. Good luck.

on most cars that i have serviced the trans. if the trans has a dipstick tube. you can fill it from there. look for a plug that has a square hole (like a 1/2" ratchet would fit into) or the plug maybe a square head or even a bolt shaped plug. the drain could be on the side of the trans or the bottom. get yourself a Haynes manual #87020 at your local auto parts store or online

I have a 2007 Saturn Ion. While driving, there is a grinding noise that seems to increase with speed. The grinding sounds like it's coming from the front driver side wheel. I have already changed the wheel...

Your wheel bearings need replaced, just replaced both front ones on my car,Then you will need to have your tires balanced, rotated and front end aligned.Mine was coming from my front driver side,it was loud, replaced, then the passenger side was making a noise, but not as loud, now it is like new.

I want to look and change my trnsmission fluid on

Take the driver's side tire off and look straight over the rotor to the trans and there's a plug bolt that needs a hex socket to get it out.

Dealer says it uses Dextron III trans fluid, not gear oil or motor oil like in some smaller cars.
