2004 Jeep Liberty, fuse 21 blows when someone sits in the passenger seat which disables radio and windshield wipers. WHY?

why blows, or why all those things go dead
answer 2, because they share that feed.
answer 1, because the wire on that seat
    are shorting out power.
inspect that seat for damaged wires.

you mean its F21 cab fuse, not under hood box F21.
sure, because cab 21 runs radio sure.
and other things.door locks., not seat heaters.

    bottom left reads radio.
red circle reads, right door lock switch.
PK/yL wire, (means pink with yellow stripe)
that wire is shorted. to the body.

The fuse is in the cab box fuse 21. What I noticed today was when someone sits in the passenger seat and opens the door the fuse blows. Could it be something in the door?

SOURCE: 1996 jeep grad cherokee wiper fuse

What an idot. It is above the fuse box on the pass. side. Which is gotten to by removing the fuse box panel. Two hex heads and a metal clamp washer inside the fuse box door. The steel 20amp fuse lowest to the floor is the one.

SOURCE: windshield wipers stopped working on 1993 jeep cherokee

Did you plug them all back in? lol j/p

Do your blinkers and your back windshield wipers work? It's either electrical or mechanical. Turn them on and poke around to see if you hear the motor doing anything. If you hear it, it's probably a broken linkage. If not, start with the fuses and work from there.

It's possible that by unplugging the battery and then plugging it back it, the fuse for the wipers received an electrical surge, blowing it. Consult your manual to see where the fuse for your model is and check to see if it's blown.

SOURCE: The passenger windshield wiper does not work

if you have only one wiper arm moving then your wiper linkage is broken   i get used wiper linkages from the auto recyclers   to remove the old one you have to remove the 2 wiper arms   raise them up and slide the little clip out to hold it upright   either pry or wiggle the arm off  then undo the screws for the grill under the wiper arms while the hood is raised undo the bolt on the wiper motor etc.  replace the part and put everything back together   you may have to try putting the wiper arms on a few times until it doesn't hit the edge of the windshield and retracts down properly   $40 (Canadian) for used parts if you do it yourself  $90 - $130 in new parts  maybe $140 - $200 in parts and labor to have someone else do it

Rear windshield wiper sprayer doesn't work but the fronts work fine 2002 jeep liberty limited

The rear wiper has its own pump motor. pull the hose from the wiper and have someone engage to see if there is a clog. do the same at the motor. if bo liquid comes out then its the pump. also check fluid level in reservoir as well as a possible secondary reservoir

The windshield wipers stopped working, the radio, and the air conidtioning only works on high. I am wondering if this sounds like a fuse problem.

The windshield wipers and the radio not working sounds like a fuse problem because a lot of times they are on the same fuse, but the A/C only working on high sounds like an issue with the fan speed control switch.

2002 jeep liberty - limited - electrical problem

If yor liberty is a 2002 to 2004 it is very likley that the wiring harness is pinched under either the drivers or passengers seat. you need to remove the seats (its only 4 bolts) and lift up the carpet and look at the harness that runs under the seats. I have seen this many times before.By the way i am a Jeep master technicain and have been for 15 years.
