My sons truck when he puts his brakes on his 1993 gmc 1500 truck the brakes pull real bad to the right have already changed rotars, pads ,master cylinder, got air out of line. don't know what to do next.

Check right side tires for proper air pressure, check front end for looseness in any of ball joints, tie rod ends etc. Also check left brake to see if working properly.

I want to change my own oil. what side is the oil pan on?

If you do not know where the oil pan Is I would really consider getting help with your first oil change. The pan is on the bottom of the motor and has a plug on the bottom of it which is used to drain. The key is not to over tighten/strip the plug when putting back on. Make sure the oil filter is changed and tightened properly. It is def not a bad idea to have a 2nd person so assist for your first oil change!!

Cars starts and dies five seconds later

try changing the fuel filter. with that many miles on it could be clogged. most people forget all about the fuel filter which is typically on the passenger side on the frame rail near the tire well.

Gear OIL in Daewoo Leganza SX manual transmission

1. With the vehicle on a level surface and the fluid in the transaxle cold, remove the filler plug and check the fluid level. The fluid should come to the bottom edge of the plug hole.
2. If the level is low, add SAE 80 manual transaxle fluid through the filler plug hole until the fluid begins to run out.
3. Reinstall the filler plug and tighten it securely. The speed gears and the synchronizer parts on this vehicle receive lubrication through specific passages in the mainshaft. It takes 1.8 liters (1.90 quarts) to fill the transaxle completely.
its located next to drive shaft some on left hand side others on right hand side depending what gearbox.

We just bought our daughter a 1998 dodge neon for her first car. High miles..170,000. It ran great but the next day after bringing it home it began to make a Scrapping noise...LOUD! It sounded like...

This could be badly worn struts/rotars. For having 170,000 miles a lot of things could be worn. When did it make the scrapping noise? when you hit the brakes? If it sounded like it came from the rear of the vehicle i would have the axles checked for rust/old damage.
