Weak power Suzuki vitara 6 cylenders 1997. when the road is paved and it is not getting higher it is ok but when in sand or paved road that get higher it reduce the speed. all fuel ways were cleaned and the air ways as well but no result. The exuest is very clean which means that there is no problem with rings or pistons. the sound also is normal. once I found some oil in the air manifold when i cleaned it. I used anothe Vitara with 4 cylenders it is stronger. could u please solve this problem

YOU HAVE 1999 VITARA .I DIDNT SEE NO 1997 DIESEL VITARA. YOU HAVE 1.6 OR 2.0 ENGINE.TO GET A TRANSMISSION YOU HAVE 2WD OR 4WD THAT WHAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN TRANSMISSION.
Change the fuel filter, and have the fuel system flushed so that it is very very clean.
Now change the air filter and make sure it is clean.
Clean the throttle body and pedal lines.
This is a very good powerful car - get it serviced on time!!
I will assume you have the same thing as in a Suzuki Grand Vitara : N : Neutral : use this when you tow your vehicle. 4H : Use it in normal road conditions, highway, etc. 4H Lock : Use it on offroad, snow, sand, ... etc 4L Lock : Use when you are stuck on snow or sand, BE CAREFUL, this mode is only for difficult situations, do not exceed 25 MPH, and do not use it in normal conditions.
