Front end collision? The kill switch shuts off the fuel pump in case of an accident or rollover. If you hear the pump run, that's not it. I'd check for a cut wire in the starter circuit.

Vehicles have a switch that kills the power to the fuel pump when in an accident. There is a reset switch somewhere. It could be in the trunk. Hope that this is helpful.
