Apparently this is a recall matter and will be fixed at no charge. KIA Consumer Assistance Center 1-800-333-4542. Recall notices were to go out in May/June 2009.

hello. When your check engine light is on it indicates that your car's computer has stored one or more error codes for you to see. If you have an AAMCO Transmission shop in the area they will scan your car's computer for free and tell you what is going on. Same true for the 4 wheel drive light. This is the important first step to solving your issues. Joe

None of those would be fixed by replacing the battery. Or did you replace the battery and then all of those stopped working?

You can tell of blade fuses are blown if you full them and hold them up to the light. That is a whole lot of stuff not working. I would say you need a good auto-electrician.

Duplicate see other post. This is an airflow issue at the intake. The vehicle could catch fire. Dont drive it.
