Were is horn relay for sc1 1.9 4 cyl. saturn 1999

The horn system consists of a single horn, a horn relay located in the underhood fuse block, and driver controlled horn switch in the steering wheel. The horn system is designed to provide the driver with an audible warning to signal pedestrians, other drivers, etc.
Operation
Voltage is supplied to the horn relay coil and contacts at all times through a 10 amp HORN fuse, located in the underhood fuse block. When the driver pushes the horn pad, driver air bag module, the circuit completes and energizes the horn relay coil. This causes the horn relay contact to close. When the contact closes, current travels to the horn and the horn emits an audible warning.

How do i find fuse for horn

There is a relay for the horn, too. You can simply unplug that.

You didn't define your vehicle. Check the owner's manual for fuse locations.

Horn relays are found under the hood in a fuse/relay enclosure. The horn switch on the steering wheel is part of a low-current circuit that activates the horn relay. That circuit's fuse will be located in the interior fuse panel, wherever that is hiding!

How to replace the horn fuse?

Most of the time it is not a fuse, it is the relay. Horns use alot of voltage to work , and therefore use a relay to close the circuit to make the horn blow. some relays are under the dash, some behind gloveboxes and a few in the engine compartment. You give no make or model of your vehicle so I have no Idea where it would be. You will need and electrical schematic of your make and model to locate the relay.

Can not get horn to blow on a 2001 malibu

2001 malibu horn fuse and relay are located in the under the hood fuse box.
location 21 should be the relay
location 43 should be the fuse.
if the relay is put in wrong the horn will not work. if you replaced the relay and the horn stopped working try pulling the relay out and turning it around. and try the horn again.

Horn wont stop cant locate fuse

The fuse block is located below the dash and mounted to the fire wall. This area is where the brake pedel is located. If you still can't locate the fuse, open the hood and the horn is located behind the grill. Remove the wire from the horn. To fix the problem correctly it's possible that the horn relay is stuck closed which is why the horn blows. A wiring diagram will show the location of the relay. Most relays snap into the holder.

Horn chatters--- suspect the relay 91 S 10 truck. I checked the horn by grounding it and running a wire from positive side to terminal of horn.

The relay is located in the "Convenience Center" as GM calls it, which means its probably not convenient. This is located behind left side if IP panel.

I do not have a relay location number. I would put my finger on the tops of each of the relays and actuate the horn. When you find the right relay it will be clicking right to rhythm to the horn.

You can also unplug the horn and actuate the horn button and listen and feel for the relay. This will allow you to better hear what is happening. Keep in mind this relay may only be malfunctioning under load (with horn in circuit) so you may get a normal click on and off rather than the chatter or stutter you are referring to. Replace the relay anyway.

Horn not working

Horns have power to them all the time. When you push the horn button, you are completing a circuit by providing a Ground.

Before the horn gets it's power for the 2003 Pontaic GrandAm, the power goes through a Horn Relay. (Number 21 relay)

It may be a bad relay, horn slip ring contact button, (Located under steering wheel), or bad horn/s.

The horns are located up under the front air dam, tucked up close to the air conditioner condenser. VERY hard to get to.
